Fun with Drupal, travelling

I was assigned lead coder/webmaster in yet another school project. This site is intended to serve as a hub for all Seneca student’s portfolios.

I am seriously impressed with Drupal. The simple template system works great, and the file structure makes a lot of sense - there is much less hunting around for the right file to edit than with some other CMSs. My favourite thing is that much like my own CMS, the admin tools are inline with the site. There is no separate administration area. This makes small updates to the site go so much faster. I can browse to the page I want, click ‘Edit’, and tools to modify the page are right there.

One more day of school, then I’m heading to Canmore for a week. Sunshine and Lake Louise are still open and getting snow. Woo!!!
